Description

"A parody of The Oregon Trail video game, The Trail to Oregon! follows a family of five on their journey along the Oregon Trail. This show is unique, as it begins before the curtains even open, with the audience being tasked with voting on which family member is to die as they enter the theater. The result of this vote will determine which of the five alternative endings the audience will witness that performance. Once the show begins, the audience becomes part of the journey, choosing the names of each family member just as one would in the video game. From there, chaos ensues as the family encounters obstacles, including the Bandit King, who kidnaps the Daughter and sends the family on a mission to rescue her. As the family travels across the trail, they must overcome dangerous obstacles, navigate family drama, and survive the unpredictable challenges thrown their way. With the audience influencing the story and the possibility of a different ending every night, no two performances are quite the same."
