What is a Chair Position?
Technical Chair
The tech chair is responsible for the organization of all building materials and tools in E-52’s tech closet. The tech chair is the main point of contact for all tech and set p-staff designers. If p-staff have questions about the building or design for their respective shows, the tech chair can inform, support, and assist in any way they can. The tech chair is also responsible for approving set designs of prospective proposals. Finally, the tech chair supervises build days between move-in and move-out of shows.
Audio/Visual Chairs
The A/V chairs are responsible for the organization of all E-52-owned lighting and sound equipment. The A/V chairs are the main point of contact for all lights and sound p-staff teams. If p-staff members have questions about using any tech booth or the materials in it, the A/V chairs can inform, support, and assist them. The A/V chairs are also responsible for approving light and sound designs of prospective proposals. Finally, the A/V chairs supervise the tech booths during move-ins, move-outs, and cue-to-cues of shows.
Properties Chair
E-52’s props chair is responsible for the organization of the E-52 prop closet. The properties chair is in charge of the maintenance of the props inventory list. The props chair is the main point of contact for all props p-staff teams. The properties chair also is responsible for approving props list of prospective proposals. Finally, the properties chair supervises the props closet during move-ins and move-outs of shows.
Costumes Chair
The costumes chair is responsible for the organization of the E-52 costume closet. The costumes chair is in charge of the maintenance of the costumes inventory list. The costumes chair is the main point of contact for all costume p-staff designers. The costumes chair is also responsible for approving costumes of prospective proposals. Finally, the costumes chair supervises the costume closet during move-ins and move-outs of shows.
Hair Chair
E-52’s hair chair is responsible for the organization of all E-52 hair products, wigs, and E-52's hair bag. The hair chair is the main point of contact for all hair p-staff designers.
Makeup Chair
E-52’s makeup chair is responsible for the organization of all E-52 makeup products and E-52’s makeup cart. The makeup chair is the main point of contact for all makeup p-staff designers. Finally, the makeup chair supervises the use of the makeup cart during move-ins and move-outs of shows.
Banquet Chair
The banquet chair works alongside the Social Coordinator to plan our winter and spring banquets at the end of each semester. They help organize themes, table assignments, games, and catering. They also co-host both events with the Social Coordinator!

Historian
E-52's historian is responsible for keeping an up-to-date record of photos and videos throughout the years. They create the fall and spring scrapbooks, make the end-of-the-year slideshow, and are responsible for editing the “Goodbye, Seniors” video at the Spring Banquet!

Fundraising Chair
The fundraising chair is responsible for organizing hosting fundraisers for the organization. The fundraising chair reaches out to restaurants around Main Street and sets up parameters with the restaurant to organize fundraisers and collect the proceeds!

Publicity Chair
The publicity chair is responsible for making graphics and publicizing our social events and fundraisers! They work with the Social Coordinator and Vice President to manage the posting of these graphics. The publicity chair is the main point of contact for all publicity p-staff teams.

Webmaster
E-52’s webmaster is responsible for keeping our website up to date! The webmaster adds all the upcoming shows to the website, including audition material during auditions and cast/crew lists after auditions! Additionally, the webmaster is responsible for keeping general information, links, and E-52 history up-to-date on the website.
