Description
Based on the true story of women who painted radium watch dials in the 1920s, the journey to defame a ‘miracle cure’ unfolds. Told the self-luminous paint was safe, the women of the U.S. Radium Corporation suffered fatal and mysterious illnesses due to radium poisoning, a tragedy the company tried to hide. Radium Girls tracks the efforts of dial painter Grace Fryer and her fellow victims as they sue the company and fight for justice.
